Job Summary
As a dialysis technician, your primary responsibility is to assist in the care and treatment of patients undergoing dialysis. You will play a vital role in ensuring that dialysis equipment is properly set up and maintained, while also providing direct assistance during dialysis procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
Responsibilities
1. Machine Setup and Maintenance: Setting up and ensuring the proper functioning of dialysis machines, including calibration, disinfection, and maintenance to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.
2. Patient Preparation: Assisting in preparing patients for dialysis treatment, which may involve taking vital signs, accessing dialysis access sites, and addressing patient comfort and safety.
3. Treatment Assistance: Providing direct support during dialysis treatment, monitoring patient’s well- being, and promptly addressing any issues that may arise during the procedure.
4. Documentation: Accurately documenting treatment parameters, patient vital signs, and any observations during dialysis, ensuring comprehensive records are maintained.
5. Equipment Management: Overseeing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and disinfection of workspace, as well as ensuring proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
6. Maintaining R. O. plant.
Experience: Above 2 years
Qualification: Diploma/ Degree in Dialysis Technology
Registration from Kerala paramedical council is mandatory

5. Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and maintaining comprehensive and accurate patient records.
6. Basic Life Support/ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

Qualification: GNM/ B.Sc. Nursing
